उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने हाल ही में गोरखपुर महानगर के ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर एवं धर्मशाला बाजार क्षेत्र में संचालित रैन बसेरों का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने वहां उपस्थित जरूरतमंदों को भोजन एवं कंबल वितरित किए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रेस प्रतिनिधियों से बातचीत के दौरान बताया कि शीतलहर से बचाव हेतु उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने सभी जनपदों में रैन बसेरों की व्यवस्था की है। इसके साथ ही जरूरतमंदों के लिए कंबल वितरण हेतु पर्याप्त धनराशि भी उपलब्ध कराई गई है।
उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने शीतलहर के दौरान लोगों को राहत पहुंचाने के लिए कई कदम उठाए हैं। इनमें रैन बसेरों की संख्या बढ़ाना और जरूरतमंदों को भोजन एवं कंबल उपलब्ध कराना शामिल है।
