प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के अंतर्गत शारदा नगर विस्तार में पहले से बनाए गए 2256 भवनों का आवंटन लॉटरी के माध्यम से किया गया था। इनमें से 185 भवनों का पुनः लॉटरी के माध्यम से आवंटन किया जाएगा। यह योजना उन लोगों के लिए है जो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर हैं और अपने लिए एक स्थायी आवास की तलाश में हैं।
